Status: Book is under contract. Draft is being written… slowly… so slowly. If we’re to learn anything from ’12 Monkeys’ though, let it be that we honour time with patience…. It will come together.

Some people might say that it is insanity to try and write two books in 12 months… especially while working and contributing to various other project – oh, and studying (part-time).

And, they would be right.

But I believe that we need to make hay while the sun shines. When you work for a long time on things and they all start to come to fruition can you really let them go?

I don’t think so.

I am fully anticipating a nervous breakdown as I head off on this exciting, scary, amazing journey, but I beyond thrilled that I have been contracted to write about “12 Monkeys” as well as working on my collection for Emerald’s ‘Death and Culture’ series.

I’ll just have to become Primary to get through. I am fairly sure I can do it. Maybe.
